Bridgette Pregliasco Torchbearer Scholarships Cover Letter

Dear U of L Student:

Could you use one of two possible $400 Bridgette Pregliasco Torchbearer Scholarships from the Torchbearer Program for the 2013 Spring semester.

If so, please complete the enclosed application and return the completed application with two letters of recommendation to George Howe at the Red Barn Programs Office which is located in the Red Barn to your left as you enter the hallway from the single door with the awning marked “Intersection” on the South side of the Red Barn on or before Monday, April 22, 2013, at 5pm.

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must have a completed application with two letters of recommendation attached and turned in by Monday, April 22, 2013, at 5pm.  PLEASE NOTE THAT THE DEADLINE WILL NOT BE EXTENDED AND APPLICATIONS MUST BE TURNED IN BY 5PM AS INDICATED.

If you are also applying for the Dennis C. Golden Torchbearer Scholarship, the Essie Jenkins Torchbearer Scholarship or the Florence M. Strickler RBAA Scholarships, you need to have two letters of recommendation for each of them also.  The same persons who gave you recommendations for one of the scholarships could also give you recommendations for the other scholarships but you need to have two letters of recommendation attached to each application that you turn in.
