Opportunities:
Gain an understanding and work knowledge of Greek Life and Student Activities.
Learn about programs, services and facilities of Student Activities.
Activities:
Develop and implement project(s) that contributes to programs and services for the campus community
Attend organizational meetings
Meet with each area in the department to gain an understanding of that area (Greek Life, Programming, Commuter Services, Operations and Administration)
Shadow the Assistant Director at various meetings and functions

Gain hands-on experience working with a program from beginning to end.
Assist with the advising of the members of the Student Activities Board.
Learn about Facilities and Operations of the Student Activities Center and the Red Barn.
Activities:
Plan and execute your own program
Assist with the film program in selection of films and box office management.
Work with the SAB Executive Board and General Board
Attend and assist at Student Activities Board events.
Assist with Red Barn events

Time: Hours can be matched to meet the needs of each student’s schedule.
Opportunities:
Work with Student Activities Facilities staff on a large event.
Participate in meetings, shadow staff and supervise events
Participate in the meetings and planning of the addition to and renovation of the Student Activities Center.
Learn about what is included in “Facilities and Operations of the Student Activities Center and the Red Barn”.
Explore more in depth an area of Student Activities Facilities that is of interest to the student and of benefit to the department.
Activities:
Work with a department or student group on a large event in the SAC or Red Barn
Attend regular Student Activities Staff meetings.
Attend meetings with the planning committee and architectural firms in the addition to and renovation of the Student Activities Center.
Experience the various areas of Student Activities Facilities and the daily challenges that come with them.
Assignment of a task that is relevant to the student’s interest and the department’s needs. (for example: assessment, review of policies and practices and others)
