Career Development Center - Position Listing
As a Graduate Assistant in the Career Development Center you will be expected to contribute to the primary purpose of the Career Development which is to assist students and alumni in developing, evaluating, and/or implementing career, education and employment decisions.
Responsibilities:
As a GA you may be responsible for the following:

College specific Student/Faculty Outreach/Advertising

Student and Alumni Career Advising

Student/Alumni Presentation/Workshop Coordination

Manage College specific satellite – location, hours, and level of service

Develop Resources for College specific programs
-
MBTI/Strong Assessment administration and interpretation
-
Oversee updates and maintenance of Internet based Occupational Info

College Specific Employer Development
-
Project management/implementation in support of Career Coaches outreach to schools/colleges by making phone calls, scheduling events/appointments, preparing flyers/brochures, pulling together materials for presentations

Assist with Career Center Events

- $1,200 stipend per month for 10 months

Qualifications:
- Must be enrolled in Graduate School Program
- Must be committed to working with students
