Service Opportunities

The University of Louisville takes our mission of serving our community very seriously, and we strive to provide many opportunities for our students to live the values of giving back to Louisville.

Each semester, we host one large SOUL (Student Outreach Uniting Louisville) event. In the fall, it's part of Welcome Week in August, and in the spring it is the Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service in January.

Any student group is welcome to participate in our Adopt-a-SOUL program, a group service project coordinated by the Student Involvement Office. For more information about Adopt-a-SOUL, contact Heidi Elmer

If service is where your heart is, there are opportunities to volunteer year-round with the Engage Lead Serve Board (ELSB). You can find more information about ELSB.
