Mr and Ms Cardinal

Each year the University of Louisville bestows an award to an outstanding senior man and woman as Mr. and Ms. Cardinal. This award is based on academic achievement, extra-curricular activities, contributions to the University, an explanation of what the "Mr. and Ms. Cardinal Award" means to the applicants as well as an interview by a panel of judges.

All interested students are urged to apply for this award. To be eligible, applicants must be an undergraduate student and have completed at least 90 credit hours. All applicants must also have a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average.

Deadline for this on line application is 5:00 p.m. on Monday, November  26, 2012. No applications will be accepted after the deadline. The earlier the application is submitted the better chance the candidates have in choosing an interview time. The interviews will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 between the hours of 3:00 and 7:00 p.m. in room SAC W310B. No exceptions will be made.

The recipients of the Mr. and Ms. Cardinal Award will be announced at a Louisville men's basketball game at KFC YUM! Arena TBA. The award will be presented at center court during the half-time festivities.
Tickets will be provided for the recipients and three guests.

In 250 words or less, what does the Mr. and Ms. Cardinal Award mean to you and why do you feel you would best represent the University of Louisville as Mr./Ms. Cardinal:

All applicants must have completed 90.0 Credit Hours and must have a cumulative grade point
average  of 3.0 or better.

All applications must be received by the Student Activities Center Office (W310)
 NO LATER THAN 5:00 PM on Monday November 26, 2012. Interviews will be
Wednesday November 28, 2012 between 3 and 7 p.m. in room SAC W310B
 No exceptions will be made.
