When walking:
-
Be observant; do not wear head phones, ear buds, etc.
-
Do not block your vision by wearing a hood.
-
Alcohol and drugs can impair your ability to walk safely, just like they do a person’s ability to drive.
-
Don’t let your cell phone distract your ability to see and hear other traffic (vehicle & pedestrian) moving around you.
