Make sure to end this semester successfully!

The semester is almost over.  You’re facing exams, last papers due, and possibly a move.  Looking back, what have you done that has helped you be successful this semester?  Do more of that during this crunch time.  If you are experiencing distress because of how your semester is ending, there are several resources that might be helpful.  If you don’t know where to turn, contact the Dean of Students Office at 852-5787 or dos@louisville.edu.

Canon’s temporary modification for Mail Services for UofL during the COVID-19 pandemic

Students can email their requests for incoming or outgoing mail services to ulprint@louisville.edu.  Canon will place their mail into a locker and the end user will receive an email and/or text message with an access code to open the locker.  End users can come to the SAC during open hours (8:00AM – 6:00PM, Mon – Fri) at their convenience to pick up their mail out of the locker within 10 days.

Follett textbook and digital books ordering

Students can start purchasing learning resources on the Campus Bookstore website for the upcoming summer 2020 semester. Orders typically get processed within 24 hours, except on the weekends. Free direct ground shipping is currently available to your home address (or campus address if you still live on campus). If state mandates allow the store to reopen to the public, customers will be welcome to shop in-store or order online and pick up in store at that time.

Digital books ordered online are emailed to you within approximately one hour. You will receive an email confirmation with the login information to the eBook after purchase. If you don’t receive the confirmation within one hour, you can also access the log-in information through your account on the website. We strongly recommend all students to create or utilize their account for purchases, instead of checking out as a guest. This will ensure that you always have access to digital book credentials in case the email gets deleted, your computer crashes, or something else unforeseen happens. Many of the textbooks that faculty have ordered have a digital book option.
