The Cardinal Cupboard's goal is to reduce food waste on campus by allowing students, faculty,
and staff to donate unwanted food items and offer it to those in need.
Located on the Swain Student Activities Center W314 (Third Floor).

  • Frozen Meals for 60 and over
    • Metro March for Meals
      • 502.574.5223
    • First-come, first-served basis from 10 a.m. until noon.
    • Limited to one box per person and up to five frozen meals per week
    • Drive-thru
      • Mondays – St. Stephen Church Parking Lot (1019 S. 15th St. 40210)
      • Tuesdays – Beechmont Community Center (205 Wellington Ave 40214)
      • Wednesdays – Sun Valley Community Center (6505 Bethany Lane 40272) and East Government Center (200 Juneau Drive 40243)

EMERGENCY RESOURCES FOR ALL EMPLOYEES

  • Smart 911 and LENSAlert
    • Bullitt, Oldham, and Washington Counties’ emergency notification system
    • To start getting emergency notifications on your phone
    • In addition to receiving notifications, individuals can create a Safety Profile for themselves and their household that can include any information they want 9-1-1 and first responders to have in the event of an emergency.
    • When individuals make an emergency call, their Safety Profile is automatically displayed to the 9-1-1 call taker, allowing them to send the right responders to the right location with the right information.
    • Information about medical history, allergies to medication, number of residents in a home and even a picture of the family dog can all be added to a Safety Profile.
