40 Hour Training Course / 4 CEU TUITION:  $675.00

This course of study exposes participants to key elements necessary to be successful as a chief of police. The learning environment and course exercises will be interactive to draw on the experience and expertise of the participants and the instructors. Practical exercises will provide the opportunity for differing viewpoints. Participants will be presented with material and instruction designed to facilitate and encourage a positive, developmental, forward thinking role for leading their agency.

At the conclusion of this segment, participants will be able to:

• Complete a risk assessment;
• Maximize training dollars through resource sharing;
• Conduct effective internal investigations within their agency;
• Get the most out of their employees;
• Create excellence and commitment through hiring qualified personnel;
• Create a volunteer citizen base;
• Understand the importance of marketing their department;
• Be able to develop a Strategic Plan;
• Defend a Budget; and
