The SPHIS Delta Omega chapter nominated William Willis, a 2009 MPH graduate, to present the poster, “Obtaining Miner and Mine Operator Participation in a Knowledge, Attitudes and Practices Survey of Kentucky Coal Miners,” during the 2009 Delta Omega poster session at the APHA annual meeting. The poster session will be held Monday, November 9, from 10:30-11:30 AM at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. Mr. Willis was one of 19 selected students from schools and programs of public health and will receive a certificate and cash prize of $350 during the Delta Omega Social Hour/Reception.
