SPHIS students, faculty and staff are invited to attend the 3rd Annual Health Sciences Center Cultural Competency Workshop, “Increasing Cultural Competence in Our Changing World,” scheduled Thursday, Oct. 23 from 11:30 AM – 5:30 PM at the Kentucky International Convention Center (KICC). This half day workshop, sponsored by the HSC Diversity Committee, will include plenary sessions with national and regional speakers, breakout sessions on specific topics and an interactive session based on a case study. Lunch and transportation will be provided. At 11:30 AM, buses will begin running from 500 S. Preston Street to the KICC; buses will return to the HSC at 5:30 PM. Registration will be managed through Blackboard, and you will be notified when registration is open.
