Martin Schindler of the Czech Republic, a post doctoral research associate, and Daniel Fischer, doctoral student from Germany, will be here until Jan. 30 collaborating with Drs. Susmita and Somnath Datta on statistical bioinformatics research projects. They will present as part of the Department of Bioinformatics and Biostatistics Seminar Series from 11 AM to 12 PM in SPHIS room 103 (abstract). Mr. Schindler and Mr. Fischer work with Prof. Hannu Oja from the School of Public Health, University of Tampere Health Institute, Finland, who was a visiting scholar in 2009.
