University of Louisville bioinformatics and biostatistics professor and university scholar Susmita Datta, PhD, has been named a Fellow of the American Statistical Association (ASA) for 2012. This annual award is limited to no more than one-third of one percent of the ASA’s total membership. The designation recognizes ASA members of established reputation who have made outstanding professional contributions for their leadership in the field of statistical science. Dr. Datta will be honored at the Joint Statistical Meeting in August 2012.
