Congratulations to Jennifer Howard and Maisah Edwards, MPH students in the Epidemiology and Population Health concentration, as recipients of the SPHIS American Public Health Association (APHA) Travel Award.

Awarded in September, the travel award will pay for two SPHIS students to attend the APHA Annual Meeting in Washington, DC, November 3 – 7. As a condition of receiving the award, awardees agree to spend some time working at the SPHIS exposition booth. Having enrolled students are an important addition to our recruitment activities as it allows prospective students the chance to learn more about SPHIS degree programs and faculty.
