SPHIS participated in the 2008 Health Career Expo events sponsored by the Kentucky Area Health Education Centers (AHEC) on Nov. 20 and 25. Held at Thomas Jefferson Middle School and Olmsted South Middle School, SPHIS volunteers interacted with hundreds of students, using images and props to provide concrete examples of how public health is a part of students’ every day lives.
