Congratulations to Julio Leey-Casella, MD, for receiving an ACRT-Burroughs Wellcome Fund Trainee Travel Award to attend the 2008 Association for Clinical Research Training annual meeting to be held in Washington, DC on March 25-26. Dr. Leey-Casella will present findings of his research project, "Yo Jyo Hen Shi Ko (YHK), a Traditional Chinese Medicine in NASH. A Pilot Study," which focuses on non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), a key component of insulin resistance. In May 2008, Dr. Leey-Casella will receive a Master of Science (MSc) in Clinicial Investigation Sciences.
