SPHIS hosts eco chef and food activist, Bryant Terry
The School of Public Health & Information Sciences Student Council is hosting eco chef, author and food activist, Bryant Terry, for a free presentation on Friday, March 2 at the Louisville Metro Dept. of Public Health & Wellness (400 E. Gray St.)
Chef Terry will present “Food Justice: At the Intersection of Food, Politics, Poverty, Public Health & the Environment.” Fusing food justice and personal history, Chef Terry will show us how to improve access to fresh food in our communities – whether that community is your campus, workplace, neighborhood, or your own kitchen.
Doors open at 11:30 a.m. and the presentation begins at 12 p.m. An interactive session and book signing will follow.
