SPHIS Graduate, Dr. Ling Lan, receives award
Ling Lan, PhD, a recent graduate of the doctoral program in Biostatistics, was awarded a 2008 Joint Statistical Meeting (JSM) Student Paper Award from the American Statistical Association (ASA) Section on Nonparametric Statistics. The award committee reported that her research and presentation at the August 2008 JSM in Denver were excellent. Congratulations to Dr. Lan on this outstanding achievement!
