Notable Faculty Service - August
- Susmita Datta, PhD, Professor, Department of Bioinformatics and Biostatistics, was a leader for the Breakfast Round Table Discussions for the "Caucus for Women in Statistics" at the 2011 Joint Statistical Meetings in Miami, FL on Aug. 1. Dr. Datta is a representative-at-large for the organization and is the president-elect for Caucus for Women in Statistics for 2013.
- Scott LaJoie, PhD, Associate Professor, Department of Health Promotion and Behavioral Sciences, has been appointed to be a member of the 2011-2012 Education and Research Committee of the Sustainability Council.
- Rob Steiner, MD, MPH, PhD, Professor, Department of Health Management and Systems Sciences, attended his first meeting on May 3 as a newly appointed member of the Collaborative Board for the UAW / Ford Kentucky Health Alliance.
