Delta Omega is the honorary society for graduate studies in public health. On Monday, 11/5, the Delta Omega Honorary Public Health Society approved our application to create a new chapter at SPHIS. The new organization, designated as the Beta Pi chapter, joins a network of 58 chapters throughout the United States and Puerto Rico.

Current members of Delta Omega among SPHIS faculty will have their first organizational meeting in coming months to establish local bylaws and plan regular events. They will also vote for new members of the society from the current student body, alumni, faculty, and the community. Membership in Delta Omega reflects the dedication of an individual to quality in the field of public health and to protection and advancement of the health of all people.
