MPH students to facilitate smoking cessation programs

On April 8, fifteen MPH students completed a training workshop to become facilitators for the Cooper/Clayton Smoking Cessation Program. The workshop was held at the University Club and was sponsored by the Kentucky Cancer Program and the Tobacco Control unit of the Louisville Metro Department of Public Health & Wellness. Many of the trained students will be leading smoking cessation groups in the coming months.
