For the second year, the Issues in Public Health class will participate in a Showcase at the Louisville Metro Department of Public Health and Wellness.  The date is set for Monday, Sept. 27 at 4:30 PM in the Forum. Dr. Richard Wilson, course director, sets up this event so the first year MPH students can be introduced to key leaders in the health department. Speakers will include Leanne French, Administrator, Community Health Education & Promotion, Ryan Irvine, Deputy Director, Community Health Services, Matt Rhodes, Director Director-Environmental Health Services and Maketa Harris, Director, Office of Policy & Planning. This is a great example of the partnership between the LMPHW and SPHIS.
