Congratulations to Kathy Baumgartner, PhD, Susmita Datta, PhD, and Shesh Rai, PhD on their recent promotions. The university’s Board of Trustees approved the appointment of Kathy Baumgartner, PhD, as the Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs effective Dec. 1. The Board of Trustees also approved Dr. Datta's promotion to Professor and Dr. Rai's promotion to Professor and award of tenure. The changes in the Department of Bioinformatics and Biostatistics are effective Jan. 1, 2010.
