Adewale Troutman, MD, MPH, Director, Department of Public Health and Wellness and Professor, School of Public Health and Information Sciences, has been appointed to the Institute of Medicine’s (IOM) Committee on Childhood Obesity Actions for Local Governments. The committee will examine existing childhood obesity prevention initiatives and will develop a set of practices that can be replicated in jurisdictions across America.
