Dr. Somnath Datta receives funding from National Security Agency
Somnath Datta, PhD, Professor in the Department of Bioinformatics and Biostatistics, will serve as the PI on the two-year project, "Nonparametric Regression of State Occupation Probabilities, State Entry, Exit and Waiting Time Distributions in a Multistate Model" which begins in January. Dr. Datta will develop novel statistical methods for analyzing interval censored multistate models corresponding to various stages of a disease such as cancer.
