Somnath Datta, PhD, Professor, Department of Bioinformatics and Biostatistics, has been elected as a member of ISI. Members are elected by virtue of their distinguished contributions to the development or application of statistical methods, to the administration of statistical services, or to the development and improvement of statistical education. Candidates are nominated by three existing honorary or elected ISI members.
