Dr. Nesbitt to Deliver Louisville's Health Address, Mar. 6
SPHIS students, faculty, and staff are invited to “Louisville's Health Address” on Mar. 6 from 12 to 1 p.m. at the Louisville Metro Department of Public Health and Wellness. In her first address to the community since coming to Louisville nine months ago, Public Health and Wellness Director Dr. LaQuandra Nesbitt will share current data on the health of Louisville.
Dr. Nesbitt will highlight the major health challenges that Louisville confronts; what we can do to become a healthier community; and, the significant health disparities that impact quality of life and prevent our most vulnerable residents from living healthy and productive lives. Dr. Nesbitt will also announce a series of public meetings to be held throughout the community to seek input from residents on their experiences in accessing health services as well as perceptions of quality of healthcare.
