Dr. Myers publishes in Social Science & Medicine
John Myers, PhD, Assistant Professor, Department of Bioinformatics and Biostatistics co-authored the article, “Feasibility, acceptability, and initial efficacy of a knowledge-contact program to reduce mental illness stigma and improve mental health literacy in adolescents” with Melissa Pinto-Foltz, PhD, Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing, Case Western Reserve University and M. Cynthia Logsdon, PhD, School of Nursing, UofL. The article was published in Social Science & Medicine in June 2011. Their publication aims to help adolescents increase their knowledge and attitudes toward mental health illnesses and treatment.
