Dr. Murriel Harris receives the 2008 Delta Omega Curriculum Award
Murriel Harris, PhD, Department of Health Promotion and Behavioral Sciences, has won the 2008 Delta Omega Curriculum Award for the course Critical Thinking and Program Evaluation, which is taught during Year One of the MPH program. Created in 2001, the curriculum award aims to highlight the important role public health graduate education plays in the development and maintenance of strong, active and well-prepared public health professionals. Dr. Harris will be presented with the award during the Delta Omega business meeting and reception in San Diego on Monday, Oct. 27. In addition, Dr. Harris will present the curriculum during the Delta Omega Poster Session on Monday, Oct. 27 from 10:30-11:30 AM at the American Public Health Association (APHA) Annual Meeting.
