Dean Richard D. Clover, MD has been invited to serve as a member of the National Vaccine Advisory Committee (NVAC), a Federal advisory committee utilized by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). NVAC advises and makes recommendations to the Director of the National Vaccine Program on matters related to program responsibilities. The Committee studies and recommends ways to encourage the availability of adequate research priorities and other measures to enhance the safety and efficacy of vaccines. Dr. Clover’s four-year term began November 2007.
