Avonne Connor is the first PhD graduate in cancer epidemiology from the new program in the Department of Epidemiology and Population Health and has successfully obtained a postdoctoral position in the department. Dr. Connor will help develop new initiatives in cancer epidemiology as well as design and teach a class on breast cancer epidemiology. She will continue to work on breast cancer studies that she has been involved in to date.
