Gray Street Farmers Market

We’re excited to announce that the Gray Street Farmers Market (GSFM) reopens for the 2023 season on Thursday, June 1!

Thanks to a partnership with Common Earth Gardens, the GSFM will resume weekly operations for the 2023 season, from June 1 - October 26. It will be open on Thursdays from 10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m., rain or shine.

We have moved the market to a parking lot at the corner of E. Gray Street and S. Jackson Street. You will enter the lot from Jackson St.

We are proud to serve those who live and work in and around the UofL Health Sciences Center and the surrounding neighborhoods. GSFM farmers and vendors will sell locally grown produce, bread, granola, jams, desserts, and more. Debit cards and SNAP benefits are accepted.

The Gray Street Farmers Market began in 2009 as an outreach program of the UofL School of Public Health and Information Sciences. The goal of the market is to increase access to fresh, locally grown food in the downtown area. Food access and food insecurity are major problems in Louisville.

GSFM partners include Common Earth Gardens, a program of Catholic Charities of Louisville and the Louisville Metro Department of Public Health and Wellness. We also appreciate the support we receive from UofL Health Care, Family Health Centers, and the Louisville Area Chapter of the American Red Cross. These organizations have representatives on the market governing committee.
