Background
Dr. Jacobs received his Ph.D. in environmental sciences and engineering from the School of Public Health at the University of North Carolina. Prior to joining the School of Public Health and Information Sciences at the University of Louisville he was the Director of the Graduate Program in Public Health at Eastern Virginia Medical School and Old Dominion University, and prior to that a Professor of Environmental Health Sciences in the School of Public Health at the University of Alabama in Birmingham.
Research Interests
Health effects associated with indoor air and exposures to organic dust in agricultural and industrial environments; Inhalation toxicology, and International Environmental and Occupational Health Practice
