Assistant/Associate Professor Level Faculty
The Department of Epidemiology and Population Health, School of Public Health and Information Sciences at the University of Louisville is seeking applicants for positions Assistant or Associate Professor. Candidates must have a doctoral degree (PhD) in epidemiology or MD with an MPH. The position may be tenure track or term, depending on experience. Evidence of teaching and independent research experience with funding is expected for applicants for Associate Professor.
The University of Louisville School of Public Health and Information Sciences is one of the newest, fully-accredited schools of public health in the nation. The Department of Epidemiology and Population Health has established MPH, MS and PhD curricula in epidemiology to which candidates will be expected to contribute. On-going research programs include cancer, aging, obesity, cardiovascular and infectious disease, and environmental epidemiology. The Department has close ties to the James Graham Brown Cancer Center, the Center for Environmental Genomics and Integrative Biology, and Clinical Translational Science Institute. We are seeking individuals interested in the challenges and opportunities associated with joining a small, but rapidly growing department.
