The Commission on the Accreditation of Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM) is the accrediting body for graduate programs in health informatics and information management in the United States. The MS in Health Data Analytics program is designed for the CAHIIM accreditation. We will seek CAHIIM accreditation; however, eligibility for accreditation is dependent upon several criteria, one of which is having a graduation of two cohorts of students. CAHIMM website.

The Certified Health Data Analyst (CHDA) is provided through the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA). It is an additional credential that heightens the MSHDA graduate’s recognition and abilty to incease income.
