Accreditation
The University of Louisville is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) to award associate, bachelor, master, specialist, doctoral and first-professional degrees (DMD, JD, MD). The university’s colleges and schools and professional degree programs are accredited (or in the process thereof) by their appropriate academic governing bodies.
The School of Public Health and Information Sciences is also accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH), an independent agency recognized by the US Department of Education to accredit schools of public health.
