Hongxiang Li

Associate Professor, Electrical & Computer Engineering


Dr. Hongxiang Li is currently an associate professor with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Louisville. Before joining UofL, he was an assistant professor at North Dakota State University from 2008 to 2011. He spent the summer of 2012 at the Air Force Research Lab in Rome, New York under the support of Air Force Summer Faculty Fellowship Program. He also spent the summer of 2013 at the NASA Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, OH under the support of NASA Glenn Faculty Fellowship Program. Dr. Li received a B.S. degree from Xi’an Jiaotong University, China in 2000, a M.S. degree from Ohio University in 2004, and a Ph.D. degree from University of Washington, Seattle in 2008, all in electrical engineering. His research has been funded by NSF, NASA and AFOSR. Dr Li is a senior member of IEEE. He is also the recipient of the 2012 Ralph E. Powe Junior Faculty Enhancement Award.
