Lost and Found Items

Anybody finding personal property (keys, textbooks, PC, clothing, cell phones, umbrellas, purses, backpacks, etc.) left behind in a Sackett Hall classroom, laboratory, or other common area should immediately try to locate the owner. If the owner is not found, take the item to the Mechanical Engineering Department office (SH 200) and give it to one of the staff members on duty. It will be placed in our lost & found repository.

If you think you may have lost something in or around Sackett Hall, stop in and ask the staff to check the repository. Be prepared to show a UofL ID and give a description of the missing item. Under normal circumstances, an item will not be retained in the repository for more than 12 months. Afterward, depending on the value and condition, it will be discarded, destroyed, or turned over to campus police.

Currently, there are a huge number of items in the repository. If you have lost anything recently, stop by to see it's there.
