The Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Louisville is searching for an Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering. Candidates should have research expertise in areas pertaining to the processing of powder metals, ceramics or biomaterials with a relation to materials design, modeling and additive manufacturing. The successful candidate should leverage the expertise, facilities and resources of the areas of excellence in materials and manufacturing at UofL. This includes the DMDII, the Rapid Prototyping Center, the Micro-Nano Technology Center, the Conn Center for Renewable Energy, and the Institute for Product Realization.

The Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Louisville seeks candidates for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position. Exceptionally qualified individuals with expertise in advanced materials applied to the area of energy storage are encouraged to apply. Those with active research focused in materials science and mechanical engineering related to durability, manufacturing and system integration at the composition, component, device, and grid-scale energy storage levels are of particular interest. The successful candidate will be expected to leverage the expertise, facilities and resources of Conn Center for Renewable Energy.
