Mechanical Engineering Academic Programs
The rigorous, practice-oriented curriculum of U of L’s Mechanical
Engineering Department is unique among American mechanical engineering
programs. The five year program of study is accredited at the
advanced level by the engineering profession's primary accrediting organization, ABET, Inc., and includes an integral three semester long
cooperative education component and eleven semesters of academic
study that culminate in the award of a master of engineering (M.Eng.) degree.
