The Department of Engineering Fundamentals provides Engineering Math, Graphics and Introduction to Engineering courses.  The department also provides student advising and conducts outreach programs in local elementary, middle and high schools.  For additional information about any of these areas select one of the links to the left.

The above animation shows a square rolling over a series of catenary curves, a topic of study in Engineering Analysis II (ENGR 102).  The relation of the square to caternary curves makes possible a smooth riding square wheeled bicycle, such as the one show here.
