INSPIRE 2009
The Speed School will once again host the INSPIRE summer enrichment program for local high school students. The INSPIRE (Increasing Student Preparedness and Interest in the Requisites for Engineering) program targets female and minority students, who traditionally are underrepresented in engineering fields, but all students are encouraged to apply.
This year’s program will be held June 8 – July 2 from 9:30AM to 12:30PM with most sessions taking place at the J.B. Speed School of Engineering. Actual dates may shift slightly due to possible snow dates this winter. Program applications will be available by mid-February.
The INSPIRE program is free, but students would need to arrange their own transportation to campus. For additional information, contact program coordinator Prof. Brenda Hart at Brenda@louisville.edu or 502-852-0440.
