The Women in Engineering Program (WIE) at the University of Louisville, Speed School, is hosting a Career Day for female high school students on Tuesday, February 28. The purpose of our Career Day is to:

  • Introduce young women to the field of engineering, and encourage them to continue their study of math and science so they will be qualified to study engineering, if they so wish
  • Provide female role models - both engineering students and professional engineers - who can describe life as an engineer or engineering student
  • Provide information about engineering classes, the admissions process and financial aid
