(From Left to Right) Dean Mickey Wilhelm, Dr. Chris Foreman, Melissa Rowe and Elliott Berger (From Dell),
Dr. Eric Rouchka, Dr. Adel Elmaghraby, Dr. James Graham
Dell Computers was recently welcomed as a Corporate Affiliate. Through Dell’s generosity, Dr. James Graham, ECE Chair and Dr. Adel Elmaghraby, CECS Chair, will use Dell’s parallel and distributed computing system and a Dell visualization cluster in teaching and research.
In February, Dell High Speed Computing engineers and leadership met with Speed School faculty and University of Louisville IT professionals to discuss the design of Phase 2 of the cluster. Additionally, Dell’s high performance computing marketing group was at Speed School in February to film a video case study featuring the visualization cluster. The video case study will soon be available for viewing on the J.B. Speed School website, YouTube and at www.dell.com.
J.B. Speed School wishes to thank Dell and other new (noted with asterisk) and returning corporate partners.
