The MINDS was established in the Fall 2000 to support educational and research activities in a distributed and mobile computing fields. MINDS facilities consist of: Multiprocessor Server with several Workstations. The lab has several laptops, wireless Access Points, Multi-interface radio cards for laptops. We have single-hop and multi-hop wireless connectivity in the lab for evaluating the performance of routing and mobility management approaches. Java and .NET based Web Services development framework. For distributed computing we have Globus 3.0 toolkit and distributed shared memory software. For wireless simulation the Lab has GloMo, SENSE and NS-2 simulator. MINDS Webpage |
