Bioinformatics Lab
Located in Vogt 205A
    This laboratory supports research in bioinformatics and related areas. The equipment in this lab consists of six AMD MP 2800+ computers, with 2 GB of memory and 120 GB of disk storage. Also included are two Hewlett Packard LaserJet printers. This lab also includes a 16 node Linux Beowulf cluster dedicated to supporting KYBRIN (Kentucky Biomedical Research Infrastructure Network). The Beowulf cluster consists of eight Dual AMD 2400+ computers, with 2 GB of memory and 40 GB of disk storage; and two Dual AMD 2400+ computers, with 2 GB of memory and 280 GB of disk storage. |
