Data Mining Lab Mission:

  • To conduct advanced research in data mining and knowledge discovery for business, government and scientific needs.
  • Support graduate academic program in data mining and knowledge discovery
  • Better equip students for the workplace by providing training in different aspects of the data mining cycle
  • Help businesses and government agencies understand the concepts and advantages of data mining by conduction proof-of-performance data mining projects
  • Be a clearinghouse for advanced data mining technologies by providing an objective comparison of the strengths, weaknesses, and capabilities of different tools and technologies
  • Provide training for industry management and practioners in data mining
