SQL Saturdays are yearly free training events run by Professional Association of SQL Server (http://www.sqlpass.org) in association with local chapters – Louisville SQL Server User Group (http://louisville.sqlpass.org).

This year’s event is sponsored by Microsoft, Quest Software, Idera and RedGate. It is on October 29th 2011 at Duthie Center for Engineering. It includes 7 MVP (most valuable professional) speakers, a keynote by a leading Microsoft engineer, free breakfast and lunch, and an afternoon Women-in-Technology session discussing “how to encourage young women in technology”. End of the day prizes include an Xbox 360/Kinect sponsored by Microsoft and several other smaller prizes as well.
