On Friday, April 16 the University of Louisville student chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) will hold its annual awards banquet. This year it will be held in Atrium B at Masterson’s Restaurant (1830 S. 3rd St) from 6:30-8PM.

This is an event when we honor African American students graduating from Speed this academic year. We also pay tribute to those African American students who have been enrolled full time and who earned gpas of at least 3.0.

The cost for non-students is $20 per person. Checks should be made out to U of L and can be sent to me (Engineering Fundamentals, 208 J.B. Speed). Payment can also be made by credit card.

If you’d like to join us for this celebration, please let me know. And even if you aren’t able to attend, we’d still appreciate your support.

Please consider being a “patron” by making a donation ($15 or more) which would allow a student to attend this event at no cost. Patrons will be listed in the banquet program.
