Speed School Student Council will host Engineering Expo 2009 on Saturday March 7, 2009 at J. B. Speed School. Our theme, "The Next Generation of Energy," will showcase environmentally friendly technologies and renewable energy. The keynote address will be given by Dr. Len Peters, a chemical engineer and the current Kentucky Secretary of the Energy and Environmental Cabinet for Governor Beshear.
Speed Student Research Competition
High school student competitions hosted by ASCE and IEEE, middle school student engineering activities, tours, and other displays and exhibits to enjoy. Also, a Speed School student research competition judged by Speed School alumni and other professional engineers.
